This Entrepreneurship & Financial Empowerment Program is designed to support African refugees, asylum seekers, immigrants, and all protected persons in Canada to build strong economic foundations, achieve financial independence, and participate fully in Canada’s growing economy.
The program provides practical financial skills, business training, mentorship, and access to opportunities that help newcomers start or grow sustainable businesses and secure long-term economic stability.
Program Objectives
Improve Financial Literacy for refugees and newcomers to confidently manage money in the Canadian financial system.
Support Entrepreneurship by equipping participants with the tools, skills, and strategies needed to start, manage, and scale small businesses.
Promote Economic Independence to reduce reliance on social assistance and increase household stability.
Increase Access to Resources & Opportunities such as micro-financing, grants, community networks, and professional mentorship.
Empower Youth, Women & Vulnerable Groups including teenage mothers, single parents, and new immigrants with financial and business skills for long-term resilience.
